Privacy policy
Minimal data collection. No accounts in v1. Last updated 2025-12-18.
Summary
Inputs you enter stay in your browser. If you copy a share link, the numbers are encoded into the URL so the recipient can see the same scenario.
Optional analytics (Google Analytics 4) may be enabled by the site owner to measure usage. If enabled, it tracks only the high-level events listed in the README (e.g. calculate, share link copied).
Data we don’t store
We don’t provide accounts or “saved profiles” in v1, so we don’t store your calculator inputs on our servers.
Your inputs are processed in your browser to produce results. If you share a link, the inputs are in the URL by design.
Share links (URL parameters)
Share links encode inputs into the query string (for example /?a=...&price=...). Anyone with the link can see the values.
If you want to avoid sharing your numbers, use the “Reset to defaults” option before copying a link.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
If GA4 is enabled, Google may set cookies and process device/usage information to provide aggregated analytics (for example: page views and which buttons were clicked).
We aim to avoid sending calculator inputs to analytics. If you see anything unexpected, please raise an issue.
Your choices
- Don’t share links that contain numbers you consider sensitive.
- You can block cookies in your browser (analytics may stop working if enabled).
- You can use the calculator without enabling analytics (depending on the site owner’s configuration).
